An integrated management system is when at least two systems are combined while still complying with the requirements of each certification standard.
Management systems are often set up one at a time. As a result they operate in isolation, often to different aims and timetables and sometimes in conflict. Ideally, these systems should be integrated and work together to meet all of the business objectives.
We offer integrated management system audits – where one audit covers a single management system which fully or partially integrates more than one management system standard into a single set of policies, procedures and processes.
By using this approach you can achieve efficiencies that would not be possible by considering each management system separately.
The aim is to streamline processes even further and avoid duplication without compromising the individual systems. The integrated system must comply with the requirements of the individual standards to maintain effectiveness.
